Now here I am, 2AM, sitting cheeks frozen on a frosty, slippery ramp and watching in awe at the display. There's no movement except for the flowing Aurora and the rotating beacon beaming shots of blue and green light on the airplanes. Aviation in Alaska is so special because it seems to mix so seamlessly with nature. Just can't get enough of it.
